Baptist Health Offering Free EMT Training for 30 Participants

Community partners are encouraged to share an important workforce training opportunity. Baptist Health has secured funding to fully cover EMT training for 30 qualified applicants. This creates a no-cost pathway for those who want to enter the EMS field and work in their communities.
The program includes a free EMT course, required textbooks, and a national background check. The only cost not covered is the $104 certification exam fee. Assistance for the exam fee may be available through workforce partners.
After the course, participants take the National Registry of EMTs exam and may apply for employment with ambulance services across the region.
